It’s an endless task, always has been. These days, His messages are scrawled on to the walls of cities, carved into bathroom stalls, sprayed over billboards, and in any other corner they belong, where the people who need to see it will. Then the devils come rolling in to call it vandalism, paint it over, and Gabriel begins his job anew. It’s an endless task, always has been. But angels are just as endless, tireless, deathless.
